Day 333/365: Feather

Nothing fancy, just a feather I found out in the paddock…

Day 313/365: Barking Up the Wrong Tree

The afternoon sun was so gorgeous in the backyard this afternoon, I had to find something to shoot in it. If you follow my blog, you will already know how much I love good texture!

Day 188/365: Sunburst

Another image of All Saints Chapel, Woodville. I love all the texture in the stone and on the roof. The sunburst is the first one I’ve captured that I’ve really liked, so I’m happy with that!

Day 135/365: Turf Fields

I went for a drive yesterday afternoon, and on my way to East Maitland, I noticed the turf fields and thought they would be great to shoot! I stopped on my way back when the sun was really low and snapped this. I love the geometry of it with the lines in the fields going down and the lines of sunlight going across. It was a stunning afternoon.

Turf Fields: f8; 1/100; ISO 400

Day 76/365: Wind Chimes

The one thing loved more than anything else in the kid’s garden are the wind chimes. All these chimes can be dingled and dangled by the kids as they are all hung nice and low for them to reach. They were catching the light beautifully on this afternoon.

Day 31/365 : Poplars

As you drive through Paterson, John Tucker Park stands out with it’s two borders of poplar trees in rows. People love having picnics among them, kids love playing around them. They are tall, imposing, shady, and when the light shines through the leafy tops they are just stunning! I tried to capture this from within the rows.
