Well, for I think only the third day this year I am late in putting up my photo. I will blame the Christmas party & working nightshift afterwards! Anyway, we put our tree up yesterday. The boys were so excited and basically did all the hard yakka. It was Kyle’s turn to add the star to the top of the tree. The silly season starts!
My boys are growing up in a totally different world to what I did, and I can only imagine what their grandparents must think! Technology is out of control, yet we don’t want to live without it and sometimes I think my 7 year old knows more than I do!! This is my modern day portrait of my boy, by the light of his iPod.
My eldest boy Kyle, concentrating on his colouring in. What else can I say?
The three little munchkins had a ball together last weekend! This is definitely a pic for Grandma’s wall.
In the trees at the camping ground, the boys found lots of these wonderfully coloured bugs. This was just little boy heaven! We were pretty sure they were some kind of stink bug, so were a little wary. However it didn’t stop the boys seeking them out, counting them & watching them. I love the look of curiosity & fascination in Kyle’s eyes. I couldn’t resist putting two images up!
Kyle sat watching the sun rise with a hot milo. Just a gorgeous sight to see & capture 🙂
This photo was actually taken around dusk. The colour in the sky was amazingly subtle. I also experimented with using fill flash again and I’m liking the results! I like the fact that I got a natural smile out of Kyle – he is at the stage of giving a terrible cheesy grin directly at the camera!
Kyle honestly rarely stops laughing. Although it can be annoying at times, like when I’m trying to rouse on him and it fires me up even more, I think it is generally a good trait in him. He is a happy little boy. Here he is laughing at Ethy who is up in the tree.
