Day 346/365: Droplet

A miserable, rainy summer day and I find myself home early for a change. What better thing to do than go for a wander around the yard looking for things to shoot? This was my pick of my shots, but I might have to post another one or two later this week. All I can say about this one is simplicity is the key to success!

Day 283/365: Deathcamp

This is a tight shot on one of the gates at Catherine Hill Bay jetty. I think the words are just a tad contradictory to the view beyond, but I still found it intriguing and possibly a bit creepy!

Day 248/365: Chained

The rusty colours and texture of the chain fence around the ocean pool are great. Even better against a blue ocean & sky!

Chained: Nikon D7000; f4.8; 1/250; ISO 100

Day 242/365: Flowing In

As the sun rose the tide was on its way in, and the ocean pool was slowly being filled by nature. The reflections in the pool were simply amazing.

Day 140/365: Autumn Fence Line

I can’t help but put one more image up of the autumn leaves from my shoot the other day. The colours are so gorgeous, and I loved the angle of this one down the fence line. I think I may have to tell John that this is exactly the look I want along our fence line!

Day 87/365: Death by Barb

Well, after a good suggestion of shooting some barbed wire for my daily image, yesterday afternoon I trudged up to our back fence to see what I could find. Well I couldn’t believe it when I saw this beetle, which had obviously flown it’s last death defying journey into our fence! Talk about unlucky! The beetle’s misfortune was my luck however, as it has created a bit more interest in my barbed wire shot. 🙂
