Kyle honestly rarely stops laughing. Although it can be annoying at times, like when I’m trying to rouse on him and it fires me up even more, I think it is generally a good trait in him. He is a happy little boy. Here he is laughing at Ethy who is up in the tree.
My boys had great fun the day we went to the chapel at Woodville. I was a bit worried they would be bored, but there was a huge tree which was perfect for climbing, so they were in boy’s paradise! Of course Ethan brought his beloved Polly with him (Polly the Polar Bear – see more of his adventures here) and I captured a gorgeous moment under the tree!
This will be my last of All Saints Chapel. I like to capture the smaller details in old buildings, so this little arched window naturally caught my eye, as well as the tiny one higher up. My only slight disappointment is that you can’t really see the colours in the stained glass. But I think it’s still as pretty as a picture!
Still at All Saints Chapel, Woodville, this is their famous mailbox, cobwebs & all. I just love it! There are lots of little sentences all over it, this is just one of them. And I’m just loving the bokeh in the trees in the background!
I took this shot because I love all the lines & angles in it, which also make the round light globe stand out. Once again, the contrasting textures between the stone and the wood are nice too.
Another image of All Saints Chapel, Woodville. I love all the texture in the stone and on the roof. The sunburst is the first one I’ve captured that I’ve really liked, so I’m happy with that!
This morning the boys and I ventured out into the horrific wind that is blowing right across the Hunter today, just so I could shoot this gorgeous little chapel. It is All Saints Chapel, in Woodville. It was built in 1864 and is the Hunter’s oldest non-denominational chapel. It is used a lot these days for weddings and naming ceremonies. I will post a few more images from here over the next couple of days, including their famous letterbox!
