I can’t believe this is the last post of my 365 day project!! What a year! Thank you to everyone who has looked, liked and commented, it really makes doing these images each day worthwhile. I have learned a lot and I feel I have improved – especially in “seeing” things.
My last post of the project is from our trip today to the Barrington National Park where we walked the Blue Gum Loop Track with John’s Uncle & Aunty from the UK. Fungi is the thing that I like to shoot here, so that is my first image. My second is an image of a bridge handrail with Phil & Dorothy crossing it in the background. I couldn’t walk past the mossy blanket growing on it!
I hope you enjoy my last two images. Next year I am venturing into the world of iPhoneography – a whole new challenge!
It has only taken me 364 days to get my husband’s portrait for my blog. He is one of the most stubborn buggers around when he wants to be!
I shot this succulent in Mum’s garden. As you know, I love shooting anything textural and this has structure as well which is even better! I love the furry texture of these fronds. I think the colour pattern is accentuated by the black & white. Only two more to go, I’d better look for something special in the next two days!
This is my little boy doing what he loves the most – climbing! Good times 🙂
I couldn’t help but post one more image of the King Parrots from Mum’s place. This pair were just about to take flight when I snapped them.
We’re at Mum & Dad’s place for Christmas and it’s a bird haven here. I shot this perfect pair this morning while having my first cup of tea. Although I’m not an avid bird watcher or anything, they are a great subject to shoot, especially these guys which are very friendly!
There is nothing like the fun of kids on a slip & slide at Christmas time. Take that!!
For the first time our apple tree is fruiting. Hopefully they will still be there until they ripen and the birds don’t get them!
No, not that kind of weed! It’s just a grass weed, something which we have thousands of around here.
Another rainy summer evening! I went for a walk out in the garden and found this web, and although the shot is far from technically great, I still like it.
