A 365 Day Project

Day 87/365: Death by Barb

Well, after a good suggestion of shooting some barbed wire for my daily image, yesterday afternoon I trudged up to our back fence to see what I could find. Well I couldn’t believe it when I saw this beetle, which had obviously flown it’s last death defying journey into our fence! Talk about unlucky! The beetle’s misfortune was my luck however, as it has created a bit more interest in my barbed wire shot. 🙂

    • Thank you, that’s my 50mm prime lens in action! I’m really enjoying it – I have to work at framing my shots a bit more than with a zoom which I think is a good thing.
