A 365 Day Project

Day 79/365: Super Moon Rise

Last night, the moon put on a show for us all. The moon was the closest it’s been to Earth in 18 years, and hence the biggest full moon in 18 years. The best time to see it is when it just peeks over the horizon. Unfortunately, it was cloudy at our place, and it was quite a lot higher by the time we saw it. I still took the opportunity to capture some images – first time really shooting with my new D7000, so very exciting. I have a lot to learn in using it to its potential, but that is another story!
