A 365 Day Project

Day 71/365: Nanna

I really wanted to get a portrait of my Nanna, or Bananna as we lovingly call her! I am lucky enough to still have just one of these wonderful people in my life. She has had a very rough trot as late, and has gone from living independently to needing 24 hour care in a very short space of time. I can’t imagine what it must be like for her. My mum & dad have really been there for her, and that could not be easy for anyone. It has been especially hard on Mum, seeing her own mother like this. The day I went to Mum’s, Dad went and picked Nanna up and brought her home for lunch. It was really nice to spend time with her in normal surroundings, she really enjoyed watching the boys play in mum’s garden. It was a good day, so I got the chance to capture a nice memory.
