A 365 Day Project

Day 64/365: Danger

Once again, up at Nobby’s Headland, we were mulling around the grounds after seeing the exhibition, and the kids desperately wanted to see the coal ship coming into Newcastle Harbour. The lighthouse is surrounded by a white brick wall, too high for the boys to look over. We lifted them onto the wall to see, but were promptly asked to get them down! Danger alert! Anyway, they found a single gate, which was the only place they could see out, and this is Kyle looking out. I just love everything about this image – the white wall, the gate, a child longing to get on the other side of it, and the ever prominent Danger warning!
