A 365 Day Project

Day 10/365

It’s that time of year when it’s hot, muggy and the beach seems like a great place to go. The kids have a ball playing and swimming. Sandcastles are built over hours and knocked down in seconds! And best of all, the kids collapse into deep sleep two minutes after going to bed that night. It’s an awesome way to spend a summer day.

But usually the beaches are busy. The idea of being on a deserted beach is quite appealing, but usually you need to go before sunrise to get that pleasure. Well I did just that when I was up at my sister’s place in October. My brother-in-law and I went to Blackrock Beach to catch the sun rising. There was only the odd fisherman and the early bird walkers out, it was beautiful.
