A 365 Day Project

Day 7_365

I really love looking at portraits, and really admire portrait photographers. In this day & age of digital photography, creating a decent black & white portrait means grasping some post processing methods, and this is what I am pursuing. There are so many different ways to create a B&W, this time I have used the channel mixer in PS. I like the outcome, however, clearly being a learner at this, I would appreciate any hints or tips people may have to offer.

This is my son, Ethan. He is usually moving so quick that getting a photo like this is impossible, so I took the opportunity to capture him.
